April 29, 2014Paul Hoynes reported late Monday/early Tuesday that Tribe starter Carlos Carrasco will not make his next scheduled start. He will be moved to the bullpen and another starter will be added in the future.
Carrasco out of rotation. McAllister will start Wed on short rest. Starter will be added meat future. Carrasco staying in pen.

Alright, technically he reported a starter will be added “meat future”.
Carrasco has made four starts this season. He has an 0-3 record with a 6.95 ERA. His last outing on Sunday was his best of the season, going six innings and giving up four runs while striking out six.
The most likely candidate to replace him is Trevor Bauer, who pitched very well for the Indians in his spot start earlier this month. At AAA Columbus, Bauer is 3-0 in four starts with a 1.40 ERA.

I don’t know what “meat futures” have to do with anything. They had their chance to buy a pork belly in the off season, but Colon signed with the Mets.
Pork bellies, which is used to make bacon, which you might find in a ‘bacon and lettuce and tomato’ sandwich

This can def turn out to be a great move. As long as he stays positive moving forward. I think he can be a great end of the game set up man or even closer,if he can keep his mind right. He just isnt made to be a starter right now and if he can accept that I see a huge turn around for him and this team!
ok, Francona has earned the right to his April experiment but now it’s time to start winning. And Carrasco can either step back and figure out how to develop the thinking and/or temperament to be a starter, or not.
In any case, high time to put your best rotation out there and get serious.
Why hello Trevor Bauer, how are you today? 🙂

just staring at my cellie and waiting. As if it’s any of your business.
And, while I’m not exactly sure how it works, as Bauer was given a major league contract right out of the draft, but I believe we’ve kept him down enough to gain another year of service time out of him.
