Bulls offer Gibson, McDermott and Mirotic for Love?
July 23, 2014Terrance West mocks injury reports on Twitter
July 23, 2014There’s just something about former Cleveland Browns receivers that makes for good memes. Braylon Edwards was a favorite target (get it?) for Browns fans for years and now that we no longer have to hope that Greg Little figures it out, he’s became the latest favorite. I feel a little bit badly because Little was a hard worker and a decent enough guy, but man did he struggle to be the guy we needed to see on Sundays.

But don’t forget where it all began with Braylon.

I don’t think Greg Little deserves it nearly as much. Besides, he doesn’t have nearly as many Braylon’s in his career:

I was always ready to give Little a pass (no pun intended). He was a converted RB. Braylon, though? No. Not a chance. Preening Michigan Man WR. (There it is!)
Hey, at least Braylon got open. Remember all those easy downfield bombs Greg dropped? Didn’t think so. His specialty was swatting down little third down crossing routes. The rest of the time it was well-rounded cuts that let the DB arrive with the ball.

quick, someone forward this information to Braylon Edwards!!!
Quincy Morgan was great at getting open too. Doesn’t help much to get open when the ball hits the turf. Actually, at least Greg Little was covered so the QB knew to throw somewhere else.
He was not a converted RB. He played RB 1 year due to injruies that decimated the NC RB position.
