Has Andrew Wiggins actually been included in a Cavs offer for Kevin Love?
July 24, 2014Setting standards for the Browns… While We’re Waiting
July 25, 2014Mike Garafolo reported Thursday night on FOX Sports One’s evening show America’s Pregame that Josh Gordon checked himself into rehab after his July 4th arrest in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Said on @AmericasPregame Josh Gordon checked himself into rehab following his DUI arrest. Still expected to report to camp tomorrow.

Patient confidentiality being what it is, it may be difficult to confirm if Gordon did in fact complete the program unless it comes from Gordon himself.
Would a completed rehab program have any weight at all in the eyes of the NFL as far as reducing his impending suspension? Could the rehab program itself be the reason Gordon’s hearing hasn’t already happened?

Good for him.
I wonder if this will have any impact on his suspension?

One small step . . .
Or is it a large step?
Whichever, it’s a step.
FOOD FOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I hope he did check himself in. That, if true, speaks volumns about his wishes. To answer the two questions…….I hope the answer is “yes”.
Yes it speaks to the fact that he really hopes Roger Goodell doesn’t suspend him for a year.
I think that horse has already sailed.
you would think that Ray Rice “allegedly” knocking out his fiance getting only 2 games would have a better impact. Cant wait for someone to call out that hypocrisy
He checked himself in after the July 4th incident, supposedly, reportedly but is expected to report to camp by July 26th. That means he spent 3 weeks in rehab. I’m going to go out on a limb and say for someone who has had as many problems as Gordon has had three weeks isn’t nearly enough time. If he was ever really interested in addressing his issues.
It shouldn’t he’s had to many problems I can’t see a three week vacation I mean rehab stay as being anything other then a weak attempt at throwing himself at the feet of the NFL.
of course not, but it’s still 3 weeks he could have easily spent doing other things
You don’t know if he wasn’t still doing other things either. Just seems like a ploy is all but hopefully for his sake it’s the start.
What problems does he really have? Hasn’t got popped for a dirty test for weed since he’s come into the NFL. One failed test for drank…OK…and one DUI that wasn’t even really deserved. .09 hardly is anything that I would bet about 40% of the population his age doesn’t do on a regular basis. Give him a break. Drinking is the one thing that the league doesn’t test him for and there was no weed in the car.
Again….what problems, since the dirty test at Utah and the drank one. As far as we know he has never failed a test other than the drank one in the NFL.
Agreed but at least he’s acknowledging what everyone else is saying which I think/hope is a step in the right direction.
The league doesn’t report “fails” to the public. He is facing an indefinite suspension (this is widely reported and available via a cursory google search) which is only possible if he has failed at least three times.
The failed tests that put him in stage three were from college. Totally unfair IMO. He never should have moved to godforsaken UTAH and I’m sure he wouldn’t have been popped on a test…FOR WEED! Who cares???
And he went into stage three after the Drank one, which means that he was already in stage two without failing a NFL test.
I’m by no means a CBA expert but from everything I’ve read it’s my understanding that the failed tests in college cannot be used to move a player into the program. To have begun he would have had to fail a test as a player in the NFL.
