ESPN’s Jeff Goodman tweeted Monday night that free agent sharp-shooter Mike Miller was leaning towards the Cavaliers over the Denver Nuggets.

However, on Tuesday morning Nick Borges (also of ESPN) reports (Insider required) that the Dallas Mavericks also have interest in Miller, and have $2.7 million in exceptions to work with.
The Cavaliers need outside shooting, and have been talking to both Miller and Ray Allen. Allen has been mulling over retirement.

whatevs, Mike. I’ve just finished hyperventilating from Ultimate LeBron Free Agency, which immediately followed Wiggins-Jabari Draft, which followed a particularly adrenalized NFL silly season.
Go do what makes you happy, Mike. I’m going to take a nap now. When I wake up if there’s a briefcase with your signed contract in it I’ll know I have a shooter.
Mike Miller would be a great addition to the Cavs.
