Who wants to eat with the Browns’ O-Line?

September 9, 2014According to Yahoo Sports’s Rand Getlin, the Browns brought in tight end Kellen Davis for a workout. With the uncertainty with Jordan Cameron, the Browns are looking at other options at the tight end position. Cameron left Sunday’s game with an injury to his AC joint. He looked to have aggravated the AC joint that he had initially sprained during training camp. The severity of the injury is still unknown.
Kellen Davis, 28, played 15 games with the Seattle Seahawks last season. In the 15 games, he notched three catches for 32 yards and a touchdown. He was selected in the fifth round of the 2008 NFL Draft by the Chicago Bears and spent his first five seasons with the team. His best years in the NFL were in 2011 and 2012 with the Bears. In these two seasons, he started 30 games catching 37 passes for 435 yards and seven touchdowns. He would give the team another target on the offense and someone who could fill in for Cameron if he has to miss any time.
The #Browns brought in TE Kellen Davis for a workout today, per a league source. Davis last played for the #Giants.

Cameron’s out for a while I’m guessing.
