September 2, 2014Over the weekend, while the Browns were making roster moves and the Indians were fending off the weather, Kyrie Irving was doing Kyrie Irving things on the basketball court for Team USA.
Through three games, Team USA hasn’t been tested that much. They beat Finland 114-55, Turkey 98-77 and on Tuesday beat New Zealand handily 98-71. In addition to making highlight plays like below, Kyrie Irving has scored 10.7 points per game to go along with three rebounds and 3.7 assists per contest. At 22.3 minutes per game, only Klay Thompson and Kenneth Faried are logging more time.
Now, enjoy the highlight.
This, fans is the third-best player on the Cavs heading into this coming season. It’s still surreal.

Good player.
#2 in my opinion
I like those limited minutes. Because it’s always possible this basketball season of his may be extending from July to June and he hasn’t made it through a regular season healthy since high school.
