October 8, 2014Phil Taylor undergoes minor surgery, expected to miss time
October 8, 2014As the Cleveland Cavaliers head to Rio de Janeiro to square off against the Miami Heat, word comes from Heat camp that Chris Bosh, a former member of The Heatles, hasn’t spoken to LeBron James since the four-time MVP decided to return home.
“I’m in the mode where I’m trying to lead my team, help these guys out around here,” Bosh said. “If guys aren’t in this locker room, I don’t have much time for them — if any.”
Before James penned The Essay for Sports Illustrated in mid-July, James, Bosh and teammate Dwyane Wade reportedly got together for dinner to discuss their future. At this point, it was believed that James was going to take less money for the three to be able to stay together.
When asked if he was looking forward to playing against his former teammate, Bosh appeared to offer a no-win response of “Yeah…I don’t know.”
“It’s not much of an issue for me going up against Miami, I think,” James said earlier this week. “It’s a preseason game. It’s in Brazil so it’s not really on an NBA floor, as well. But it gives us an opportunity to keep on continuing to broaden the game in a huge, worldwide aspect and it will be great for both teams.”
It’s a bit of a saving grace that this game is in Brazil. The local fan fare surrounding this game would be next level absurd had it been scheduled domestically. For this, we’ll have to wait until Christmas Day when the Cavs head down to Miami.

He still should have gone to Houston.

Absolutely just shows how smart he really is/was.
Why do I get the feeling that it’s more like LeBron not talking to him?
perfect. 10.
Quick, somebody call the Wahhhbulance.
i have love for Bosh because of his honesty in addressing the Houston situation. he said he has wondered if he could be an alpha dog – he wanted to see if he had the stones to lead a team to success. He knew he wouldn’t be the alpha in Houston, so he stuck with Miami, who also gave him max money in a state with no income tax.
yeah – that’s fair. Although, I believe Texas is without a income tax as well. Not sure though.
correct. both states have high property taxes though, so if he builds a mansion (or likely has one already in Miami), then it’s not like he’s really “saving” any money there.
