October 2, 2014While it might not be very fair, Cleveland Cavaliers head coach David Blatt put LeBron James, Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving on the same team during the 2014 edition of the Wine and Gold Scrimmage. The outcome, at least in the first half, was just as you’d expect.
Irving has always had great handles and a keen eye. James has always been an incredible finisher. It’s still surreal to see what these two can do together over the course of a full season. SportsCenter might have to expand their nightly list to the Top 20 plays, just to give other NBA teams a shot.

I’ve had a stupid grin on my face all night after seeing that.
Yikes. Amazing that LeBron appeared to totally expect a blind, behind-through-the-legs pass. Get ready for a giddy Showtime 2.0, folks. At least until the playoffs, when things slow way down.
To be fair, Kyrie never even looked at the hoop and Lebron was only looking at the ball. Which is still absurd.
I particularly enjoyed Delly’s “I’m not going to get put on a poster in a scrimmage with my own teammates.”
After Mike Brown and the Slowtime Cavs, I’m SO ready for the Showtime Cavs!
