October 5, 2014Walk into any local sports bar worth it’s weight in beer and you’ll undoubtedly see a few tattered, wooden Municipal Stadium seats that, if they could talk, would tell you stories that wouldn’t be safe for NFL Films. Walk into any local sports bar with a pair of plastic, just-like-new Progressive Field seats and, well—you’ll know they cost the bar owner roughly $600.

For the Progressive Field renovations that are currently underway, the team will be removing several thousand seats to make room for group seating areas in addition to the two-story, glass-enclosed bar that will be housed just east of the right field foul pole.
What ever happened to the good old days where you could just rip the seats out yourself and take it home with you—you know, for free? Thanks a lot, bin Laden.

Indians seats should be cheaper because they haven’t been used in awhile!
