November 30, 2014Browns lose 26-10 as Johnny Manziel makes his entrance
November 30, 2014The wait is over for many Browns fans. After another sub-par performance by Brian Hoyer including two interceptions and more near-interceptions, the Browns went to the first round QB from Texas A&M as the team faced a 20-3 deficit. The Browns also did absolutely nothing in the third quarter as a whole.

Although this isn’t how you script it – down 17 points on the road in the fourth quarter – you had to think Manziel would find the field eventually this year. I thought it would have been due to injury just based on percentages. In the end, Brian Hoyer gave way to Johnny Manziel due to his really poor performance.
You have to wonder how much the Browns prepared for this given Hoyer’s bad performance last week in a win against Atlanta. We’ll have to see if this is a move for good, but if Manziel finds a way to somehow win the game or at least not look inept, you’d think it’d be hard to take the young Johnny Manziel off the field.
Manziel’s first drive led to a Browns touchdown. Manziel scrambled into the end zone from 11 yards out after putting some passes together. 80-yard scoring drives aren’t exactly a bad way to start your NFL career. Browns still trail(ed) 20-10.
