November 29, 2014You won’t be able to get yourself any of the Player Exclusives that LeBron James has been wearing over the last few weeks, but you will be able to pick up a couple colorways of the LeBron 12 that James won’t be able to wear on the court due to league rules.
The “NSRL,” “Six Meridians, “Data” and the “Trillion Dollar Man” versions of Nike’s latest LeBron James-based sneaker will all hit shelves just in time for the Christmas holiday.
The first, based on Nike’s Sports Research Lab, was released today, Black Friday, along with plenty other high-top options. It comes complete with Hyper Turquoise base with a Black-Metallic, Cool Grey and Hyper Crimson sole. Much like the HRT of Lion colorway that was released earlier this fall, it comes complete with its own video.

One day later, the “Six Meridian” colorway hits shelves. Easily one of the brighter releases, a hyper crimson base is met with a cool grey panel and splashes of volt and hyper cobalt. It’s said to be inspired by LeBron’s use of massage therapy and pressure points in the feet and hands.

“Data” is said to stem from the increased use of advanced analytics and use of efficiency-based stats. This colorway is a”nod to LeBron’s amazing efficiency on the court and ability to win with balanced statistics.” It is the darkest of the initial releases, predominantly housed in black on black with pops of other colors throughout. These will be available on December 20.

And finally, the “Trillion Dollar Man” edition (not to be confused with Club Trillion) is an ode to James, despite being 30 years old, as the “athlete of the future.” While they won’t be available by Christmas, a December 30 release date will allow fans to pick up a pair of the reflective blue, electric green and metallic silver shoes just in time for New Years.
Each of these releases will retail for $200 and can be picked up at Nike.com as well as any of the Nike retail locations.
