Buckeyes comeback falls just short in Louisville
December 3, 2014My Cleveland Sportsman of the Year: Corey Kluber
December 3, 2014Over the course of the 2014 NFL season, we here at WFNY have been doing our best to provide in-depth looks at how Browns fans outside of Cleveland enjoy their game days after having been forced to relocate for one reason or another.
We’ve taken you to Afghanistan, where a deployed soldier shared his “Football Night” experience. We’ve taken you to the west coast where a San Diego resident pulled back the curtain on his hometown as well as Hollywood. This time, we present you New York, New York. But rather than going the text route, we’re proud to have our very own WFNY-branded documentary that takes you into the homes of fans as well as their game day spot at Brother Jimmy’s BBQ where the New York Browns Backers convene to watch the Orange and Brown take the field.
It’s not 30-for-30 length, but we do hope you enjoy. Special high fives to long-time reader Alex Lubetkin for putting this all together.
Go Browns.

Great video. As a Browns fan here in NYC I love when I wear Browns gear outside and almost ALWAYS get a “GO BROWNS” out on the street. Same thing when I lived in SF. Union Sq Browns Backers are cool but I just am not a fan of watching in the windowless basement so usually I hit up Manny’s on Second/NYC Backers or Brooklyn Backers in Park Slope.
Awesome! Have been to the Bro J’s Satellite Office in Union Square a few times for Browns games but spend most Sunday’s on the Upper East Side at Manny’s on 2nd (another of the 3 Browns Backers Club/Bars in NYC). Read the site everyday and follow all of you on Twitter to stay tuned in to all Cleveland sports news and takes; no one better than you guys IMO. Keep up the good work!
This is great stuff.
there’s a BK backers in the Slope? Where? I usually enjoy watching the game in the comfort of my home but I’d be willing to take the walk from Windsor Terrace.
Johnny Macks… not a huge Backers club but very enthusiastic. I watched the Steeler win at this bar.

I went to Johnny Mac’s the first few weeks before giving in and getting Sunday Ticket for PS3.
A friend usually goes to Brother Jimmy’s for the games and endorses it.
Great little film. I’ve frequented the Browns Backers bar at Brother Jimmy’s every Sunday for the past 2 years. Really solid group who are passionate about the Browns. Check them out: https://www.facebook.com/UsqBrowns
