Browns to hire Joker Phillips to coach wide receivers
January 28, 2015Cavs vs Blazers Behind the Box Score: Epic Kyrie Irving
January 28, 2015The Cleveland Cavaliers are riding high, owners of a seven-game winning streak, but to continue it, they’ll need to do so without LeBron James. The Cavaliers announced just before Wednesday night’s tipoff that James would miss his career-high 10th game of the season with a sore right wrist. He is also likely to miss an 11th game on Friday against Sacramento.

James suffered the injury during Wednesday night’s game in Detroit when he blocked a Jodie Meeks shot then fell hard to the ground on both wrists. James remained in the game to finish off a 32-point effort that helped carry the Cavaliers to the finish line for the win.
Cleveland is just 1-8 in the nine games this season that they’ve been without No. 23, suffering many painful blowouts during that period. He missed eight games with a multitude of soreness that included his knee and back in addition to an early season matchup against the Thunder due to his sore left knee.
Shawn Marion started the game in James’s absence. Portland, who looked much gloomier one week ago due to injury, gets Nicolas Batum back from his own wrist injury and Lamarcus Aldridge continues to play through a ligament tear in his thumb.

Damn, that was quick.
Must not have found that miracle HGH substitute in Florida after all…
LBJ can play once a week if he wants, and that’s fine with me. This town has had a few dominant regular-season teams and some MVPs and Cy Young winners over the past 50 years, but nobody ever held a parade for that. I want my Fan Ring.
As long as James is in King mode come playoff time, that’s all I care about. The rest is just stats.
