Terry Francona and Nick Swisher discuss MLB’s Pace of Play rule changes

February 23, 2015Right up my Brew du Jour, IPA-infused alley, the Cleveland Cavaliers have teamed up with local microbrewery The Brew Kettle to create and distribute what will be called the All For One IPA.
A limited release, this Session IPA (clocking in at just 4.75 percent alcohol) will be available starting on March 25. In addition to The Brew Kettle, the beer will be available at Quicken Loans Arena and Northeast Ohio Heinen’s locations. Given the low ABV and IBUs1, in addition to the hints of fruit, it’s clear that both parties are looking to cast as wide of a net as possible rather than cater to the hopheads.
“We wanted to brew a Session IPA that was truly ‘One For All,'” said Jack Kephart, head brewer. “Our goal was to give ‘All For One’ the hop flavor and aroma of a typical IPA in a lower ABV, but with a lower perception of bitterness that the casual beer drinker would find approachable.”
Of-age Cavs fans who would prefer to not wait for the March 25 release can enter “The Brew Kettle ‘All For One’ Session IPA Sweepstakes” to win the opportunity to taste the beer before its public release. Thirty fans (and their guests) will be invited to attend one of three ceremonial tapping events to take place before the mass release date.
