5mins in: deflategate is making mountain of mole hill.
8mins in: what’s up with all the ongoing investigations, i just want to watch football.
keep treating issues where the home qb plays with easier game ball than visiting qb as ‘molehills’ and you will have more investigations. punish cheaters with a basic ‘if you cheat, you forfeit’ and you’ll have less investigations and less cheating.
Terry Francona’s contract being tied to the continuance of Shapiro/Antonetti as principal management players suggests a good working relationship, but also probably indicates his professional respect for their abilities to manage effectively and efficiently with what they are given by ownership.
They basically granted everyone the right to “cheat” when they granted the request in 2007 to let each team have its own balls. Change it back and it’s all good.
