Dwyane Wade headed to Cleveland for Wednesday night
February 10, 2015Kyle Shanahan saying all the right things—now that he’s gone
February 10, 2015Cardale Jones is the latest in a line of people to go for blood in video games. It’s a bit of a phenomenon that I first read about on Deadspin. Just google “hopped on the sticks” and check out the hilarious results. Be warned it’s not all that safe for work, you know, depending on where it is that you work. So anyway, back to Cardale. The media reported that Jones visited a sick kid in the hospital and beat him 91-35, but Jones wants to set the record straight.
It was 98-35.
Man I wish everyone stop saying I beat a kid in the hospital 91-35…. It was 98-35, had 91 with 1:26 left in the 4th pic.twitter.com/TAJxefv5A4

For the moment I can stiff arm my feelings of sympathy as I think more and more about the sick kid, and in this moment I am laughing so hard. I especially like the clarification on the score.
Can we please draft this kid now?
Would love for that kid to get healthy, keep practicing the game, and beat Cardale in a rematch 6 months from now. No reason to go all, “everyone gets a trophy” mode over a video game.
well, I guess we can draft the kid. he’ll make Johnny feel relatively big and strong, I guess.
Ask the sick kid, and I’ll bet he’ll beam when he tells you that CARDALE JONES visited him in the hospital and played video games with him!
And I love Cardale’s response. This kid is far more mature than we would have ever believed. This, people (I’m kind of looking you, Johnny and the Browns) is how you respond to faux controversy.
tremendous. he should have went for two after getting that last TD with under 2 min in the 4th.
