March 3, 2015The NBA has announced that Houston Rockets guard, James Harden, has been suspended for one game without pay for his flagrant foul against the Cavaliers on Sunday. Specifically he’s being suspended for kicking LeBron James. In case you don’t remember…
NBA suspends James Harden one game for kicking LeBron James in yesterday's game.

The kick happened late in the third quarter in what turned out to be a very chippy game. Harden received a flagrant one following video replay. The game had a playoff feel to it and many in the media and on Twitter thought Harden should have been ejected following the kick to James, because it looked to be intentional. Following the game, James had a few comments about the incident between Harden and himself.
“Obviously that’s not a basketball play,” James said. “Obviously, the league will probably take a look at it. I have no idea why he would do that, but two competitors just trying to go at it, and he won this one.”
NBA officials have apparently agreed with James and therefore, Harden has been suspended for Tuesday night’s game between the Rockets and Atlanta Hawks. Although a suspension does not help the Cavaliers in anyway, it is nice to see the NBA step forward to try and stop these types of dirty plays from happening.

He’ll appeal it and get it knocked down to three quarters. Isn’t that what always happens?
So, he got to stay in the game we played him and misses the game against the team we are chasing in the standings.
That one isn’t nationally televised
We were discussing this at work today, what are the implications of a rule change to save the suspension for the next time the two teams play? Or if the player changes teams, the next time the player plays that team?
One game is pretty freaking light for that BS, especially on top of not being ejected. That crap has no place anywhere- in any sport or in the real world.
I don’t think the logistics would work. Pay changes, would you exclude the playoffs, does that mean a player on his last NBA legs might never serve it?
What he needed was a forearm shiver from Perkins.
Oh yeah…Blatt DNPed him. >:/
After getting fouled and hacked by LeBron every time LeBron was trying to guard Harden I would of kicked him in the nuts to. Refs fault they never call fouls on Lebron and he fouled Harden every time he guarded him .
Let’s just suppose they have another game in 3 weeks. I am not a psychology expert, but it seems like telling someone, hey 3 weeks from now you will pay for this would have less of an effect and feel more like an annoyance?
However, the reason the league might consider this. It gives the story another cycle. The talking heads could discuss the kick today (per usual) and then again the day before the actual suspension.
What game were you watching Dude?? LeBron got KILLED every time he went to the basket with no call. Harden gets touched on the pinky on his way to the basket and a whistle blew. Harden gets away with using his off arm constantly and travels (well ok, the whole NBA travels incessantly) and carries the ball EVERY trip to the basket. Harden is a big baby and needs knocked on his arse hard!
He should have been out at the happening + one or two games, but he has gotten away with dirty play for the last 2 years and and now lets look at Chris Paul he and Harden get away with all kinds of fouls!.
Same game you were watching dude! Lebron fouled the crap out of him when the Rockets were up by 4 right in front of the ref and no call shot violation give me a break anybody else they would of called a foul. Lebron plays dirty on defense because he knows they are going to let him get away with everything so he hacks, holds, cries and whines and gets away with it. And don’t hate on Harden because he takes the ball to the hole alot he beats his man every time so they have no choice but to foul.
