April 10, 2015LeBron James tweets message to Lauren Hill
April 10, 2015LeBron James told the media that he will suit up for Friday’s game versus the Boston Celtics at Quicken Loans Arena. “It was never not a decision (to play). I never said I wasn’t playing tonight. I always planned to play tonight. I was never taking off tonight. I never had that in my mind,” said James about his status for the Celtics game. Iman Shumpert is listed as questionable for the game with an injured right quad. Shumpert suffered a right quad contusion in Wednesday’s victory over the Milwaukee Bucks.
The Cavaliers do not have much to play for in their last few games of the regular season. With the loss by the Bulls and the Cavs victory on Wednesday, the team got more then they needed to clinch the second seed in the Eastern Conference playoffs and the title for the Central Division. The Cavaliers have four games left in the regular season, starting on Friday with the home game versus the Boston Celtics.
The Cavs will most likely sit some of their veteran players in a few of the remaining four games. “I’m playing tonight, I don’t know what I’m doing after that but I’m playing tonight,” said LeBron James about his playing status beyond Friday’s game. Look for James and some of the other veteran Cavs to sit out at least one game in the final four. The Cavs go into the Celtics game with a 51-27 record and a 8-2 record in their last 10 games. With a little over a week to go in the regular season, all I can think about is, “Is it playoff time yet?”

-UPDATE-
Cavs Head Coach David Blatt announced that Iman Shumpert will miss Friday’s game versus the Boston Celtics with the right quad contusion. Later, a little less than one-half hour before tip-off, Jason Lloyd tweeted that Kyrie Irving would miss the game with a sore right hip.
David Blatt says Shumpert is out tonight. Says his R leg is "really sore" and "swollen" from his quad injury. But said it's "not serious"

#Cavs Kyrie Irving is out tonight with a sore right hip. Felt soreness at shootaround, worked out pregame and it was still sore.

The 2 seed is locked up.
Play the trainers.
And Mike Miller.
I wouldn’t mind seeing a mix for guys getting rest as opposed to the mass game off for starters.
Nobody will notice around here I mean a Cleveland team finally wins a division and makes playoffs yet talk is about the other teams.
