Cavs can bounce back from Game 1 Bull-dozing
May 5, 2015Breaking down the Browns 2015 NFL Draft
May 5, 2015Josh McCown will be the next man assigned to crack the code for the never-ending Cleveland Browns quarterback problems. After Brian Hoyer bolted in free agency, and Johnny Manziel still just trying to earn trust from the organization, the signing of McCown is the supposed answer to ending the team’s 12-season streak of not qualifying for the playoffs.
Meanwhile, head coach Mike Pettine looks to at least reach the .500 mark in his second season with the team. After guiding the Browns to a 7-4 record heading into Week 13, Cleveland stumbled and lost their final five games.
It’s always interesting to keep an eye on Cleveland Browns tickets, especially if they are nearing a playoff berth. No one can predict how high prices will go if the team is one game away from clinching a spot in the postseason, but according to Razorgator, lets take a look at the most expensive and least expensive Browns’ tickets on the secondary market.
Most Expensive | Least Expensive | |
Game | Cleveland Browns vs. Baltimore Ravens | Cleveland Browns at St. Louis Rams |
Date | November 30, 2015 | October 25, 2015 |
Venue | FirstEnergy Stadium | Edward Jones Dome |
Average Price | $507.12 | $156.44 |
Get-in Price | $36 | $20 |
A division rivalry is the most expensive ticket to a Browns game this season, trying to do better than their 0-2 mark against Baltimore a season ago. In Week 3, the Browns lost a 23-21 nail biter to the Ravens at FirstEnergy Stadium. To break the playoff drought, the Browns are going to have to learn how to win these tightly contested affairs in their building. Their Week 17 matchup at M&T Bank Stadium was not as close, with Baltimore cruising to a 10-point home victory. The loss stopped the Browns from getting to .500 for the first time since 2007. Ravens tickets can still be obtained for this AFC North clash, but they’ll also cost an average of over $500.
The St. Louis Rams have closed the door on the Sam Bradford era, bringing in Nick Foles after conducting a trade with the Philadelphia Eagles. Bradford, the former No. 1 overall pick in the 2010 NFL Draft, had an injury history that didn’t allow the Rams to have consistency at the quarterback position. Ironically, however, Foles is coming off a season where he only started eight games before missing the rest of the season due to injury, but he has had better luck staying on the field throughout his career. Foles showed what he could do when healthy, throwing for 27 touchdowns and two interceptions in 2013. The Browns will hit the road for their least expensive ticket of the season.
