May 28, 2015Barack Obama: J.R. Smith is having a great season
May 28, 2015Following one of the most incredible seasons in college football history, it seems as though players on the Ohio State football team are capitalizing on their good fortunes once again. Cardale Jones will grace the cover of ESPN Magazine (again). This time, it will be on their June college football preview issue which will have multiple, regionalized covers.
With just three career starts under his belt, Jones has made himself a quite a celebrity for what he has done both on and off the field and it looks as though ESPN wants to take advantage of his celebrity status.
The reigning national champions, Ohio State will have a three-headed monster (or a three-quarterback race) this summer and going into the preseason, before the college football season begins in August.
Scheduled to be released on June 1, this ESPN Magazine will likely be a hot commodity for Buckeye fans everywhere. Alabama’s Derrick Henry, Oregon’s Royce Freeman and TCU’s Trevone Boykin are on the other three covers. Jones has now been on two ESPN Magazine covers. Starting at quarterback in the Buckeyes’ three most important games in the 2014-15 season, it appears as though Jones has the front seat in the competition and ESPN must agree.
