July 13, 2015Before attending a hometown premiere of Trainwreck in Montrose, LeBron James took his director and co-stars to the 330 fast food staple Swenson’s. An hour or so before appearing to greet the hundreds of fans waiting for a rare glimpse of movie stars in that part of Northeast Ohio, James — starring as himself in the comedy opening in theaters across the country on July 17 — felt it necessary to treat Amy Schumer, Bill Hader, and Judd Apatow to a meal at his well-known favorite burger joint. Funny or Die has provided us with footage of the pilgrimage to the home of the Galley Boy.
In the video, it appears that James drives Schumer, Hader, and Apatow against their will to the Swenson’s location off Medina Road northwest of Akron. James orders a Galley Boy and some potato teezers for either Apatow or Hader, and discusses his vision for the Trainwreck sequel with Schumer. (Spoiler alert: Hader’s character is befallen by a tragic death, and James is there as Schumer’s shoulder to cry on.) James also reveals his ambitions to be a feature film director, voicing his desire to direct the sequel in place of Apatow with the same artistic flourish with which he directed the Cavs offense in the NBA Finals.
I’ve long wished to know what James’ favorite Swensons’ milkshake flavor is. I’m a banana man myself, and while it was suggested that James had a banana milkshake, it’s unclear from the video. In any event, once his basketball career is over, James shows he may have a second career as the star of a spin-off to Jerry Seinfeld’s “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee” called “Basketball Players in Cars Getting Milkshakes.” Whether Schumer, Hader, and Apatow (the latter two distressed at their potential roles in the sequel) appreciated the zesty cheesy deliciousness of their potato teezers or the flaky, gooey awesomeness of their Galley Boys is unclear.
On the eve of the season opener, there's only one answer the world NEEDS TO KNOW @KingJames: What's your favorite Swensons milkshake flavor?

FWIW, Cleveland.com says he ordered everyone banana shakes.
That’s my Swenson’s!!!
Banana is the best.
kind of a relief that LeBron doesn’t totally embarrass himself in these things, amiright?
As a former curb boy from the 90’s…. its weird seeing girls running curb.
Dangit, stupid Richmond, VA. I have an insatiable urge for some Swenson’s now.
He strikes me as the kind of guy who has been secretly taking acting lessons ever since he appeared on SNL.
Mine too! For whatever reason I thought it was even funnier that Bill Hader was facing the completely opposite direction from the theater when he was trying to figure out where he was.
Same
This is unfunny enough to make me not want to see the movie.
Then you can DIE! 😉
I think this is more for those who already seen the film & can ID with the actors or characters. Plus you never ate Swensons before, so you don’t understand.
Kyle Welch, you seriously should ask Swensons twitter thsi question & if they liked the food or not. But Californias > Milkshakes anyway
And no fried mushrooms? I could probably eat Swensons every day if I could afford it.
