Terrelle Pryor among Browns back at Saturday’s lax practice
August 15, 2015Connor Shaw injures thumb, out “an extended period of time”
August 16, 2015Jay Glazer visited the Browns in his bus and Mike Pettine jumped on to chat at an uncomfortable small table about Johnny Manziel and Joel Bitonio among other topics. They spent the whole first part of the interview talking about how sexy Mike Pettine is. Very strange, but they got past it eventually.
Anyway, they finally got into talking about football. They talked about Johnny Manziel and what a great job he’s doing, even though everything is quieter around the second-year QB.
Here’s the rest.
Pettine had to pick one guy who might break out and he selected Joel Bitonio. It’s a safe pick, but it’s also something you have to feel good about. Glazer asked him why he picked a guard and Pettine said he isn’t thinking about the Browns being fantasy draft day stars.

Would have fine with some editing. It’s like Glazer has no one to tell him that if you keep repeating the stupid little icebreaker joke the needle on the comedy meter quickly bounces from cute to awkward to “is this 8th grade?” Poor Pettine.
Smallest table ever.
He seems exactly like the kind of person with whom I would hate to be stuck in a cell.
I think the “stuck in a cell” part is the larger issue here.
