Cleveland Chainsaw Massacre: Miami Heat at Cleveland Cavaliers, Behind the Box Score
October 30, 2015J.T. Barrett reportedly arrested for OVI
October 31, 2015Kevin Love seems to be taking to his new deal with the Cleveland Cavaliers. He looks like a different guy to start the 2015-16 season and he showed it all off against the Miami Heat in the home opener. Kevin Love poured in 24 points, collected 14 rebounds, and had five assists that were mostly of the highlight variety. He set up LeBron for a dunk, and Mozgov directly under the rim for an “and-1.”
The most encouraging thing in the highlight was watching Kevin Love get aggressive with his position under the hoop, scream “HEY!” at Tristan Thompson, get the ball, finish and get to the line. Chest bumps with Tristan Thompson ensued, but it’s great to see Kevin Love assert himself that way. It’s a far cry from some of the awkwardness of his first season in Cleveland.
Also, you know, this “handshake” with J.R. Smith.

Love the way Kevin is moving without the ball and how the Cavaliers are finding him. When his shot was off in the first half I was hoping to see him move inside but he worked his way out of it.
