February 24, 2016Addressing the media at the NFL’s Draft Combine in Indianapolis, newly crowned Cleveland Browns head coach Hue Jackson said that the team will “take a stand” and not tolerate the off-field behavior of quarterback Johnny Manziel.
#Browns HC Hue Jackson on Johnny Manziel: we're not going to tolerate those situations, we're going to take a stand and move forward.

The “situations” Jackson referred to could be an entire host of things, but the most recent involves an ongoing criminal investigation with Manziel as the individual in question. In addition to various videos and rumors surrounding party-like scenarios, Manziel was recently alleged to have assaulted his (then?) girlfriend Colleen Crowley, with the report reaching as far as to say that Manziel threatened to commit suicide and later had to be searched for by helicopter. Following the most recent news, Manziel’s agent, Erik Burkhardt, severed ties, and his father expressed concern over his son’s long-term wellbeing.
The latest batch of news has Manziel and friends hosting a party in Cabo San Lucas where the property was ultimately trashed.
Despite the heinous allegations being investigated back in Texas, the former Heisman Trophy winner seemed to be at ease during the Mexican getaway.
“Johnny didn’t seem to have a care in the world, all the troubles he has back in America seemed to melt away once he arrived in Cabo and really let his hair down,” a Daily Mail insider confided, as if that differs from Manziel’s typical behavior. “He was surrounded by all of his boys, attractive girls and plenty of alcohol. He was having a good time.”
Following their stay in the villa, according to the Daily Mail, Manziel and his pals relocated to a plush property in the gated community of Santa Carmella for two days. The party crew reportedly left the spot in shambles.
The team stated that they will handle the Manziel situation when the appropriate time comes. It’s widely expected that they will release the Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback on March 9 when the new NFL season begins and the financial ramifications of doing so are less onerous. If the team were to make any moves in February, it would count as $4.6 million against their salary cap.

Unless that stand involves kicking him to the curb, then don’t bother. Anything less would be pointless.
He may as well stay in Mexico. There’s nothing left for him here.
Really let his hair down, huh? So no blonde wig, I take it?
some people you just really wish you could see it when they hit rock bottom…not that im rooting for it, but he has so many qualities I hope to keep out of my son (whats the opposite of instill? outstill? distill? uninstill? uninstall?)

I’m ready to go on the record and take a stand against Stalin and Hitler. Not nice guys at all.
that King George guy is pretty lame too with his Stamp Act and all. Let’s do something about him.
What are you thinking? I heard the guy loves coffee. Let’s dump a bunch of it in the ocean.

The Cleveland Browns Football Organization valued at over a billion dollars has to take a stand against it’s 23 year old quarterback.
Poor phrasing choice there Coach.
