Where the Browns stand: Offensive Line
February 10, 2016Browns’ Armonty Bryant indicted on felony drug charge
February 10, 2016it was only a matter of time before the second incarnation of Kyrie Irving’s signature Nike shoe received some love on the customization side of the house. As of this week, those who haven’t been a huge fan of the general release colorways of the Kyrie 2 can now utilize a premium option in the NIKEiD space that gives customizers three separate color shifting details to choose from—day, noon, and night.
Dubbed “Razzle Dazzle” by the folks at Nike Basketball, complete with a magician-hat wearing “Great Kyrie,” these color shifting details can be added to the swoosh/tongue logo, the strap across the forefoot, and—in what may be the coolest option—the outsole.
The “Day” shifting starts with yellow, moves through green and ends at orange; “Noon” starts with green, moves through orange and red before ending at a purple-like hue; and “Night” (pictured below) starts with a deep blue, moves through purple and ends with a contrasting yellow. The irridescense is very similar to the color-shifting (or “candy”) paint jobs that can be found on some cars. It is also identical to the exclusive color-shifting iD options that will be available to those at the Nike Loft in Toronto during NBA All-Star weekend.
While the $185 “premium” pricing is a (arguably drastic) step up from the $120 that makes the Kyrie 2 one of the best bang-for-the-buck sneakers currently in the Nike catalog, this iridescent color shifting is easily the best option to hit the iD sidebar since the shoe’s release.1
- It’s also a convenient way for Nike to test the ceiling on the Kyrie line. [↩]

So this is what Lue was complaining about.
