Hue Jackson meets Paxton Lynch, refers to him as “a nice kid”

February 9, 2016The whirlwind of events that have recently involved Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel, who is expected to be released by the team when the new NFL year starts on March 9 have gotten the attention of some famous celebrities, some who have never even played in the NFL. Former NBA star Shaquille O’Neal offered help to Manziel Saturday night, when he was leaving a Super Bowl kickoff party in San Francisco. In a video taken by TMZ, following being asked about Manziel’s troubles, O’Neal said, “call me, I’ll fix you,” and even said that he would be the former Texas A&M star’s mentor.
Outside of the two being superstars in their respective sports in the Southeastern Conference (O’Neal was a basketball star at LSU), O’Neal and Manziel aren’t close in anyway, but yet the 7-foot-1 big-man is offering help to No. 2, showing just how much Manziel’s troubles have affected his standing amongst professional sports stars.
While O’Neal offered help in a video, former television star Charlie Sheen also offered advice to the troubled quarterback, but his was through a tweet on Saturday morning.

Sheen, who has had his fair-share of troubles over the years, tweeted this without being asked about Manziel. The former star of “Two and a Half Men”, who has admitted to his own drug and sex addictions over the years while also revealing that he is HIV positive back in November, Sheen has battled through many obstacles in his life. Given that Sheen and Manziel have some similarities outside of their stardom, maybe Sheen’s resilience could be something that the quarterback can take notice of in order to turn his life — outside of football — around.
Even with both O’Neal and Sheen showing their concerns and offering help, Manziel still has his fair-share of troubles that he is currently fighting. Whether it be serious allegations against him in a police report that involves his ex-girlfriend, his agent terminating his relationship with Manziel, or just the fact that he must make football become a secondary priority, one thing is clear: Other stars wants to help Manziel. Whether he will take the help is a question that only he can answer, but if recent reports are any indication, Shaq and Charlie won’t be getting texts from No. 2 any time soon.

I am also giving advice to @JManziel2: Don’t take advice from Charlie Sheen. It’s not 2 safe 2 trust him. #winning #biwinning

Johnny just needs a wizard-tiger-dragon-blood transfusion from Charlie.
