The Cleveland Basketball Cavaliers travel to Charlotte this evening to take on the Bobcats in a basketball match (7PM, WTAM1100, FSN). The Cavs are 8-2 in their last 10 games and are currently on a three game winning streak. The Bobcats come into this game rocking a two game win streak. In a related note, the Bobcats lost 8 in a row previous to their mad streak of wins.
It’s been tweeted by Brian Windhorst that Shaq will be back in the starting lineup for tonight’s game. JJ Hickson is projected to start at the 4 alongside the large diesel engine. Charlotte has been playing well since acquiring Stephen Jackson, and has been going with a smaller, more athletic lineup. Maybe we’ll see the mythical ‘LeBron at the 4′ unicorn, though it likely will just mean minutes for Delonte West.
Here’s a brief statistical breakdown of the two teams, complete with numbers:
Cavs:
Offense: 100.3 ppg, 88 poss, 113 pts/100 possessions, 0.468 FG%, 24.5 FTA, 76% FT, 29% oReb, 71% dReb, 14% TO/possession
Defense: 91.4 ppg allowed, 89 poss, 102 pts/100 possessions, 0.431 FG%, 23.1 FT, 77% FT, 28% oReb, 70% dReb, 15% TO/possession
Bobcats:
Offense: 85.3 ppg, 89 poss, 96 pts/100 possessions, 0.420 FG%, 24.8 FTA, 69% FT, 31% oReb, 74% dReb, 19% TO/possession
Defense: 89.5 ppg allowed, 88 poss, 101 pts/100 possessions, 0.443 FG%, 20.1 FT, 74% FT, 25% oReb, 68% dReb, 17% TO/possession
Leave your thoughts here about the game here, complete with run-into-the-ground tryptophan jokes. You may have used them 50 times with your family already this weekend, but we haven’t heard them!!

Why do they keep playing Z?
Why do they keep playing Shaq? Why hasn’t Brown tried to work Delonte back into the starting lineup? Why? Why? Why?
ManSleezee, Windhorst addressed your Dolonte issue here: http://www.cleveland.com/cavs/index.ssf/2009/11/cleveland_cavaliers_vs_philade.html
Sorry, that should be “Delonte”.
The old chemistry never lost to Charlotte.
