The well hath run dry: “According to an organizational source, there’s been “very, very little real talk” regarding [Derek] Anderson with other NFL clubs. The source also added that he would be “surprised, stunned” if the market for Anderson “heats up in the next three weeks”. The timeline used by the source is interesting as Anderson is due a sizable roster bonus on March 19, a little over three weeks from today.” [John Taylor/The OBR]

More reason for stepping away from the ledge: “Last season there were nine teams that finished at least 15 games above .500. The Cavaliers were 13-8 (61.9%) against these top teams, posting a sub-.500 mark on the road (5-6). So far this season there are currently nine teams that are at least ten games above .500. Even after the loss to Orlando, which is one of these teams, the Cavs are 12-6 (66.7%) when facing these skilled opponents, going 5-4 on the road against them.” [Mark Cameron/Cavs the Blog]

Man, that “Please don’t go” sign really is pathetic. What an embarrassment.
If LeBron were to leave, what would he do with that house he built? It’s not like he’s going to be able to sell it. How many other multimillionaires would want to live in Bath Township? And if he did leave, he’d have to build another huge house in Miami or wherever.
Leave? Wouldn’t be prudent.
LMAO at the snuggy thing. I am 89.33567% sure Im coming up from Columbus to go to this game.
who is this “derek anderson” you speak of?
Can there be a less shocking revelation than the “no one is interested in trading for Derek Anderson” story? If we could get a used tackling dummy and a broken kicking tee for him the Browns would be wise to take that deal. No chance anyone trades for him when everyone knows he will be cut.
Of course hindsight is 20/20; but wouldn’t it have been nice to trade D.A. 2 years ago when he had value, we had Quinn and we could know what we had in Quinn by now?
I really don’t know what to make of that Snuggie event. Like Vince, I am intrigued at the thought of be a part of a Guiness World Record breaking event…on the other hand, I would almost rather not be a part, than be part for that. Regardless, that pic of Andy is hilarious. But are all of the Snuggies gonna be that big? I mean, that is big enough to cover Andy and then some!
My idea for a keep Lebron James in Cleveland campaign:
Every clevelander (over 2 milliion) donates one dollar to Lebron James “King for Kids” Charity. We can all show our appreciation for the king through charity in Lebrons name. If the city of cleveland pulled that off, for him, how does he leave us?
We DO know what we have in Quinn — a solid third-string QB.
Yeah because the team doing everything it can to give LeBron a contending team isn’t enough right?
I’ll bet the snuggie people are going to go from city to city just barely setting new world records so they can milk this thing for all the pub they can get. I’ll bet the Cavs’ fans record won’t last very long.
ELOCK77 – I defer to your years of NFL scouting experience
Let Quinn start from day 1 of training camp on and if he can’t perform either do to his own deficiencies which include what appears chronic injuries then next year address the QB position. Sign a veteran backup now and jettison Anderson. Use your 11 draft picks to improve the overall team not to waste another top pick on another young QB. Just my opinion.
