Welcoming the challenges: “Coach Todd Haley said in the conference call with the Cleveland media on Wednesday that the Kansas City Chiefs’ scout team will “definitely have a guy wearing a number 35 jersey this week.” That happens when you rush for 286 yards against a team in the previous season, as Jerome Harrison did.
“That’s a real compliment,” Harrison said. Harrison was asked if he thought he would be a marked man this week.
“Hopefully, I’m a (marked man) every Sunday.” [Fred Greetham/The OBR]

Don’t look now, but the All-Star is coming back around: “Fausto Carmona is putting together quite a finish to the 2010 season. He pitched seven innings, not giving up a run until his last inning, striking out eight and walking one. In his last two starts he’s thrown 16 innings, struck out 15, and walked two.” [Lets Go Tribe]

Viva nostalgia: “It appears Michigan’s basketball team has become a haven of sorts for the progeny of ex-NBA stars. Jordan Dumars (son of Joe), Tim Hardaway Jr., Glenn Robinson III, and Jon Horford (brother of Al and son of Tito) all will be suiting up someday soon for the Michigan Wolverines. I’m not sure if it’s all coincidence or what, but Rivals has each of them ranked at three stars apiece.” [Eleven Warriors]

Please Browns…please hand the ball off to Harrison and Hillis. Please!! This is not the Jake Delhomme comeback tour. If they don’t win this one against that terrible Chiefs passing “attack” and romeo led defense, it may be time to find those paper bags from last year.
Actually the chiefs defense looked really solid on monday. But your right, if they actually give up points to KC’s wreck of an offense it’ll be embarrassing (unless charles busts a bunch of long runs).
I think the Browns should hand the ball of to Hardesty… He may be injured but he couldn’t do worse than Hillis did last Sunday
“Jordan” Dumars? Really? Joe, do you always name your kids after guys who kicked your ass?
