Um, About Kellen…

A league source tells us that the talk among the Browns is that tight end Kellen Winslow landed in the Cleveland Clinic because his balls swelled to the size of grapefruits.

Wow.  I’m actually pretty speechless.  Obviously, all while wishing Winslow the best.

WINSLOW HAS SWOLLEN, UM, PARTS? [PFT]

only fitting that the only browns player that seems to have balls is the one sidelined for having his balls be too big…only in cleveland

I’m saving my jokes until we know that a) this rumor is legit, and b) it’s not cancer.

Exactly, I don’t think there is anything funny about it.

Nicko, if you wanna see something REALLY funny, here ya go:

RENTON, Wash. (AP) — Seattle quarterback Matt Hasselbeck served
as spectator all week during practice.
He’ll likely reprise that role Sunday for the Seahawks (1-3).
Hasselbeck’s sore right knee hasn’t received clearance to play
against Green Bay, meaning that Charlie Frye will likely be the
starter against the Packers, coach Mike Holmgren said after
    practice Friday.
Frye, the only completely healthy quarterback on the roster,
took almost all the snaps in practice this week, while Hasselbeck
rested his knee and backup Seneca Wallace nursed a sore calf.
Frye got valuable playing time during the preseason while
Hasselbeck was out with a back injury. Frye started twice in the
preseason and his display of growth in learning the Seahawks’
system allowed Holmgren to tinker with the idea of using Wallace as
a receiver last month when Seattle’s receiver corps was decimated
    by injuries.
But Frye has not started a regular-season game since the opening
week of the 2007 season with Cleveland, when Frye was lifted for
Derek Anderson after just 10 passes, and then was traded to Seattle
the following week. His last full game came at the end of the 2006
season, when Frye completed 25 of 35 passes for 187 yards in a loss
    to Houston.
“It doesn’t seem that long ago that I played. I basically
played two full games in the preseason and I can lean back on that
    as experience,” Frye said.

I have been trying not to laugh about this story since it could be cancer or something serious. But yeah it is ironic our only “soldier” goes down with huge nads. I can’t believe the bad luck this team, and city, has with injuries.

obviously we all wish him the best… however… as a Browns fan… if you cant see any humor or even any irony … then you need to take a step back

I actually saw this earlier in the comments on sportsline. I assumed someone was just being stupid because this is an unbelieveable injury.

This has to be true. I was watching ESPN First Take this morning, and Kordell Stewart and Jamal Anderson we’re talking about the Browns game and Kordell said that Winslow is out with his illness and started laughing. Jamal then said “What are you laughing at, I don’t think that’s funny” he was laughing too as he was saying it, and whoever the asian dude is on there was laughing too.

    That’s messed up.

That could be cancer for all we know guys, not funny at all, even if your trying not to laugh you need to check yourself, it could be serious
