Hey, I Know a Team That Needs a DB…

Free-agent corner DeAngelo Hall has agreed to a one-year deal with the Redskins, according to sources.

It is unlikely that the team will formally announce the move until tomorrow afternoon. As a rule, players must pass a physical before signing. Hall, a two-time Pro Bowler who had no medical problems with the Oakland Raiders, his most recent team, is expected to take his physical tomorrow.

Nothing like some salt in the wounds after our defensive backfield was toasted for 440 yards through the air.  I was on board with not picking up an elderly player like Ty Law, but with Hall being 24-years of age, I don’t think that he could hurt.  But then again, it’s not like we’re rattling off seven straight wins between now and the end of the season…

He is a great talent, but given the state of the team right now I don’t know if we could afford another personality in the locker room, especially one as volatile as Hall. He has been nothing but a locker room problem the past 2 years. If we were in a position to make a postseason run, my opinion might be different, because then wins are paramount, but since we are not in a position to make the playoffs I’d rather let McDonald get more experience even if it means watching him drop sure picks over and over. Are we all ready to give up on McDonald already? He has had some good games, and is still young and raw. I think he will only get better. It was just a couple weeks ago where we were all saying how the secondary was turning out to be a strength of the team, so lets not pin this all on the defensive backs when we all know that if we got some pressure on the QB our corners wouldn’t be under so much scrutiny

Hall probably didn’t want to come to Cleveland anyways, does anyone else remember in the lead up to the draft he was saying how he wanted to come to Cleveland, but after he was drafted by Atlanta he said he never wanted to play in Cleveland and was really happy that he didn’t have to play here. I don’t know what his deal is but I’m glad he isn’t a Brown

Hall gets burnt just as bad as McDonald, he just doesn’t accept blame for it

No he doesn’t get torched as bad as mcdonald Lmao. He’d be a good fit and would save the team a 1st rd pick that they could use on a linebacker next year. I mentioned this yesterday. I am prophet give me thanks :)
