Can You Pass The Braylon?

While NFL fans anxiously await the schedule for the upcoming season, Tony Grossi is reporting on the possible rumors of the Browns being a part of the Thanksgiving Day trifecta of football games.

But in case that we’re not on tap, Grossi makes sure to point out that it is just a rumor at this point.

With a 10-win season in the rear view, this upcoming season is bound to have at least one primetime game on the dockett – something that they haven’t done since 2006, and that was on the road against the Steelers.  We’ll likley be looking at a Sunday night game, but even if that’s the case, we’ve come a long way from not even getting HD coverage for the first half of the season on CBS.

Which is awesome, but at the same time shouldn’t be held IN Cleveland. Lord knows Browns fans like to drink, but even more so during the holidays. If something wacky, like a push out not called, happens that won’t be a good thing.

As one who has to work on Sunday mornings, I’m really hoping for a Sunday night, or Thursday night game. I’d love the chance to go see a game at the new stadium finally.
