another really depressing list. The league is filled with impact LBs, but one good season of Jamir Miller is about it for us, And no, tackle-stat guys like D’Qwell and Andra Davis are not game-impacting playmakers, not guys offenses scheme around.

I dont care if it was weak draft or not… If you draft a guy at 4 then he better be a good/great scorer (TT is not and I dont see the offensive skill to think he will be). Guys who rebound and block shots can be found later in every draft.

let’s hope they want whoever drops to our spot.

one thing they could do though it would be extremely risky is to select RGIII. it does a few things.

1) Rams get to see who the Vikings pick to see who is there at #4 and who could be there at #6.
2) Rams eliminate the Vikings as a potential rival in the trade down war
3) Rams eliminate the Browns from potentially scaring off other teams from a bidding war (since we have the most ammo) – w/ the Browns true intention of having RGIII drop to #4

But, if they couldn’t land a “good” deal after they did that, then they’d have some explaining to do.

But I still don’t understand why the Indians should get a better cut of television money.

Total # of people reached and income bracket of those people is what matters.

Kyrie = clutch… He has done it consistetly all year, he is without a doubt a franchise player

Gee has really impressed me. His shooting is improved, his athleticism allows him to finish inside, he is a very good rebounder and defender. I think he is the perfect sixth man for now and the future.

Respected Antawn when he was with the Wizards but really ambivalent cheering all that awkward slop he’s throwing at the hoop to bail us out. Like cheering World Free’s jacking from everywhere because you knew there’s no future there but couldn’t exactly ask him to feed Ben Poquette. Wonder if Kyrie feels like someone forced to play pick up with the bandy head-banded 65 year old because he’s got next.

Look forward to another scorer next year. Just gets really ugly sometimes, like no one elase has any game.

I wholeheartedly agree, and St. Louis won’t want to drop as low as #6, anyway, because they need to come out of the draft with either a left tackle (Matt Kahlil) or CB (Clayborn) and at #6 they won’t get either of those two and might even lose Blackmon if things get crazy. Their #2 pick for our #4 and the second round #37 makes sense for all involved.

Not to break open the whole “we should be losing” argument any further, but if you want to see what tanking seasons looks like and what it can do to a young team, check out the Wizards. Another lottery pick is certainly not going to fix that trainwreck.

the reasonable scenario is that a player coveted by St. Louis will be there at #4 but possibly gone by #6. Whether that is a likely scenario is well beyond my pay grade.

Adam Schefter was on Mike and Mike this morning talking about how a team could make life tough for the Steelers by giving Wallace a big signing bonus that the Steelers either could not or would not want to match. If the Steelers had to cut 3 other guys just to match an offer to Wallace, they might choose to let him go.

Unfortunately, the Steelers gave Wallace the high tender offer, so if we were to try and sign him, we’d have to give up a first round pick (I am unclear on the rules as to whether that’d be this year or next?). I don’t think I’d give up the #4 and all of our cap space for Mike Wallace

But if some other team wants to take him from the Steelers? I’ll send ‘em a fruit basket
