Figures. The night that the Blue Jackets bounce back in terrific fashion and put up a 5-0 win over the Calgary Flames, DP is out of town and couldn’t witness the win nor blog about it. Thankfully, there was some extracurricular activity involved which then properly places said hockey game right up my alley.
While the ever-amazing Steve Mason put up yet another shut out (his 10th of the season), not everyone in Columbus was celebrating in style. Unless you consider “in style” to encompass bomb and shooting threats, that is. Then you’re likely hanging out with the gentleman to the right.
Peter Stenzel, 52, has been arrested and charged with inducing panic after placing at least three threatening phone calls to the Blue Jackets — specifically goaltender Steve Mason — during last night’s win over Calgary.
According to the Columbus police report, Stenzel was wearing a Calgary Flames T-shirt when he was arrested at his residence in Columbus.
