Last summer Shaq challenged several pro athletes for his series Shaq Vs. It appears that enough people watched to entice the network to renew the show for 6 more episodes. Okay, there is a chance you don’t know who Joey Chestnut is. Shame on you. How could you not be familiar with the current Nathan’s Hot Dog Champ? Are you American? Chestnut is a competitive eater, which may not be a sport in many eyes, but we’re certainly willing to stretch the definitions (not to mention Shaq’s waistline) for our entertainment. I’d like to see the chicken wing challenge personally. As with all competitions, Shaq would have to get some sort of handicap. I would suggest this- first contestant to finish their plate of wings wins. On Chestnut’s plate- 100 wings. On Shaq’s plate- 50 wings. Sauce is up to the competitor. Could Shaq finish 50 before Chestnut downs 100? Chestnut is built for speed, but let’s not pretend that Shaq can’t down some food. [Read more...]
