Sometime early this morning, Waiting For Next Year received it’s 100,000th visitor. When Rock, Scott and I launched this site 93 days ago, we never imagined that it would ‘catch on’ so quickly. But we aren’t arrogant enough to think that it is because of us, we have had lots of help along the way.
First we want to say thank you to our readers. Putting your opinions to paper, or cyberspace for all to read makes you a tad vulnerable, but the reaction we received has been great. Whether you have agreed with us or not we appreciate that you spend a few minutes here each day, and engage us in the comments. It is a joy to share our love of Cleveland sports with you. Thank you!
Next, there have been several sites that have really thrown traffic our way, and we certainly appreciate that. Part of me wants to list all the sites that have linked us, but that would take too long, and let’s face it you don’t want to read all those names. (Must..resist urge…to…kiss…butts…)
We look forward to the next milestone, whatever that may be, but more importantly, we look forward to a CLEVELAND CHAMPIONSHIP sometime in our lives…
Thanks again- rick
(You may notice the calendar goes back to November. When we launched the site we moved some posts from our previous sites over here, that’s why some posts are dated earlier…if you care.)

The fine design of the site deserves mention. It’s user-friendly and appealing to the eye. And it even includes in its banner the Brownie Elf, which not all visitors may recognize as the intermittently revived mascot that was first used during the glory days of the Cleveland Browns, when the team was the preeminent powerhouse in the AAFC and NFL.
Bravo, WFNY. Proud to have you represent Cleveland.
I’m amazed at how often you guys update, and it’s always quality. I had no idea the site was so new.
Keep up the good work.
And the real question is: Who was the number 100,000 WFNY blogger? Huh? Good reads every day, thanks guys!
Great site. Great writing. Great design. Great things in store. Cheers, boys!
