WFNY Comics: Lee-Man!
Upon racking up his sixth win of the season, I felt that today’s comic should commemorate the solid start of Cliff Lee.
Lee struck out seven, allowed six hits and walked none last night. His ERA now sits at 0.81 and he’s toting an amazing strikeout-to-walk ratio of 39:2 through 44-plus innings. Disgusting.
With that said, check out today’s comic after the jump!

hate to be a cynic here, but are we in for a huge letdown? i’m as stoked as anybody else for Lee’s hot start but as a Cleveland fan, there’s always this sense of impeding doom.

He’s bound to give up a run or two… Even if he goes .500 from here out, it’s head and shoulders from where he was last year. Remember, he was in a battle for this rotation spot two months ago…

I think it is too early to talk about Lee starting the All-Star game, and ESPN needs to lay off comparing his start to previous Cy-Young winners.

Think we can let him play left field during his off days?
