More on the Joe Tait debate: “I think there is some value to the possibility of adding another voice to the booth with Tait. While I wouldn’t consider it necessary, a younger perspective might energize the erstwhile Tait over the long haul, something that would benefit both Joe and the listening audience. New perspectives can be good, and I have faith that Joe would adapt well to a partner, something he has demonstrated in his conversations with people like Mike Snyder, Bill Wills and Bruce Drennen whenever he interacts with them during various broadcasts. Joe likes to talk, and he likes people, even if he also has his preferred way of doing things. Good news on the probability of the Shaq trade. Sasha and Ben are two very attractive trade pieces and to waste them on somebody that will 38 by tipoff next season is, in my opinion, a waste. The Cavs need to build for the future not hire mercenaries.
