Browns May Want To Show Patience With Brady Quinn After All

Written By:  Andrew   |  Category:  Cleveland Browns   |  Comments:   68

quinnSo here’s the scenario the Browns find themselves in with Brady Quinn. The team is 1-9 with six games to go coming off perhaps the most humiliating loss of the last five years. We’re entering that funny part of the season, where the Browns annually tend to play their worst football. This is when the team is tired of losing and tired of putting in the effort and not seeing any results for their hard work. It’s frustrating for the players and frustrating for the fans. And it’s in this climate that the Browns are now forced to decipher what can be salvaged of Brady Quinn’s career.

On the season Quinn’s numbers look as such: six games, five starts. 80-141 (56.7%) for 812 yards (5.76 yards per attempt). Five TD, five interceptions. That’s a QB rating of 70.4. Not the most inspiring numbers, but also not the black hole of QB play that Derek Anderson has been. But the question is, has Brady Quinn done enough for the Browns to make a decision either way on his future in Cleveland? As of three days ago, I was convinced the Browns should just wipe the slate clean and be done with him. I was probably wrong, though.

A while back, I interviewed Cavalier Attitude’s Amar Panchmatia, and he said something that has always resonated with me. When I asked him about the signing of Little Larry Hughes, he said:

“I tried to envision Laura Hughes as “The Answer” to all the Cavs’ non-LeBron related problems. The injury history was what bothered me right off the bat, and I’m telling you the truth when I say that that’s the very first thing that came to my mind. I was positive and upbeat about it, but to be honest with you, I had to talk myself into it. Usually with moves that make you better, you don’t have to talk yourself into it. Getting Michael Redd or Joe Johnson wouldn’t have required into “talking into it.” Hughes did. That should have been my red flag right there.”

That really makes a lot of sense to me, and I did the same thing when the Browns drafted Brady Quinn. Going into that draft, I was not a Brady Quinn fan at all. I had just seen my Ohio State Buckeyes make Quinn a complete non factor in the Fiesta Bowl, and I had my doubts about just how good (or not) Quinn really was. But when the Browns drafted him, I talked myself into believing it was a good thing. Now, I feel like I was a fool for believing. But perhaps I am making a mistake now in the present in not wanting the Browns to stick with Quinn next year.

In the most recent issue of ESPN The Magazine Football Outsider’s Aaron Schatz wrote an excellent article about the question we’ve all been wondering: When do you know it’s too late for a QB to turn it around [Insider Link]? Well, Football Outsiders has done the research, and it turns out the answer is 2 years. Schatz writes:

“When is it time to give up on your young QB?

The quick answer is: after two years (unless, of course, the guy has spent that time on the bench). If a QB falters badly in those first two seasons, you can pretty much write off his chances of ever amounting to anything.

[…]

And that’s why all the fuss swirling around at least some struggling young QBs is premature. Start with Quinn. Browns coach Eric Mangini apparently decided the Notre Dame product wasn’t NFL quality after six career starts, even though his numbers were better than those of his replacement, Anderson. Quinn’s career stats (94 of 174 for 972 yards, 3 TDs, 5 INTs) actually mimic Hasselbeck’s (84 of 172, 1,079 yards, 4 TDs, 5 INTs) and Troy Aikman’s (90 of 179, 1,209 yards, 4 TDs, 12 INTs) in their first seven starts. Good thing Mangini is rethinking his initial assessment.”

In the article, Schatz gives example after example of guys who validate their findings that a QB needs to be given two years. And this is precisely why, despite my doubts about his potential, Quinn needs to be given one more year in Cleveland to prove his worth.

It’s really a shame that Eric Mangini, and the Cleveland Browns as a whole, have botched up the development of Quinn so badly. Rather than letting Quinn play through some early ineffectiveness and giving him a chance to grow into the starting QB position this season, Mangini instead panicked and pulled Quinn for DA. Now, the question is whether it’s fair to even count this season as Quinn’s first season.

As of right now Quinn has eight career starts. If he starts each of the final six games of the year, that will give him 14 career starts. That’s close to a whole season’s worth. It’s tough to evaluate much in such disjointed and uneven starts spread over multiple parts of multiple seasons, but it is experience none the less.

So if we are to believe what Aaron Schatz and Football Outsiders have found about this subject, and I see no reason not to give them the benefit of the doubt on this one, then it is imperative the Browns let Brady Quinn be the starter from day one of training camp next year and all of the regular season. That’s not to say the Browns absolutely should not draft a QB this offseason (there’s nothing wrong with a little insurance), but it’s time to give Brady Quinn his fair shot and to find out once and for all if Brady is up for the job. We’re not going to learn anything about this team the rest of this season. This season is over. But if the Browns are finally ready to just let Brady have the job and run with it, then next year will be his watershed moment.

Agree that the Browns need to give Quinn some time but there is no doubt he was pulled because of his contract. Anderson did nothing to merit being the QB. This was purely a money decision by the Browns and now with his 70 percent of the snaps not a possiblitity we will see Queen the rest of the year.

It won’t matter who the quaterback is unless he is given time to make reads and find the proper receivers. How about an offensive line overhaul?

I completely agree that the Browns shouldn’t draft a QB. Besides the fact that Quinn was never put in a position to play well (training camp, Winslow/Braylon trade, playcalling) there isn’t a safe QB pick in this draft. Not anyone that is top 5 worthy.

im on board with this, take mcoy or suh in the first round, draft the best OT available in the second round, get these lines shored up before we worry about spending big time money on another QB

  • 5. November 24, 2009

How about the fact that we’re asking Quinn to delevop with virtually NO running game. Having Jamal stutter-step his way for 2 yards doesn’t make life any easier. I’m not expecting brilliance with the guys Quinn has around him, just survive these last 6 games and bring in some talent.

    All we are saaaaaaay-ing
    is give Quinn a chaannnnnnce.

Ev’rybody bitchin’ dink ‘n dunk, checkin’ down, pass protection, interceptions . . .

    All we are saaaaaaay-ing
    is give Quinn a chaannnnnnce.

(BTW, Massaquoi is screwing up the offense because he can’t read defenses and adjust his routes accordingly. Last night on The Point After, Sam Rutigliano said that on that third-and five play late in the game, MoMass was supposed to run a six-yard out, but he ran a 10-yard out. The rest is history.)

There is just no way this team drafts another QB. It is franchise suicide. Just build the f-ing team already…through the draft. Lots of picks. Gotta hit on at least 6 of ‘em.

You absolutely can’t take a QB in the Top 5 in this draft with as many holes on both sides of the ball that the Browns have. There are too many potential impact defensive players available… Suh, Mccoy, Berry. Gotta get a Top 3 and get one of those guys, much more probability to succeed than a QB.

My 2 cents: The loss wasn’t humiliating. It was a lot better than the win against Buffalo.

They should give BQ at least till the end of the season. If he shows flashes, they should sign a veteran backup, and give him next season too.

They should also keep Mangini another year.

Drafting a QB doesn’t mean we have to draft a #1 QB, or even one the first day. Take a flier with a late round pick. It eliminates pressure (to get him playing time) from all levels of the organization and provides someone for emergency.

I personally hated the Quinn pick. If the Browns hadn’t over achieved in 2007 it would have been a top 10 pick and I didn’t/don’t think he’s worth it.

Is Brady taking hair advice from his brother-in-law? Or maybe he’s doing an anti- Drew Brees….not cutting it until we win a game….or maybe his favorite movie personality ever is Sunshine from Remember the Titans…what could it be? What happens to his dreamy status if his hair is past his shoulders next season?

I dont know that I would draft a QB because we need to put players around whoever it is, which I would guess is Quinn. We have 2 players on the OL that I would not get rid of (Mack and Thomas). Steinbach has not been playing all that well, and I think he’s really over rated. He let a guy go untouched straight at Quinn this past weekend, and he wasn’t blocking anyone. I still think Eric Berry is the guy I would take with our top pick, then look for LBs/ OL/ DL with the rest of the 2nd and 3rd rounders.

Vince Young looked pretty good last night and has looked good since giving him back the starting job. Sometimes it just takes time.

I mean he is handing off to the corpse of Jamal Lewis, a tight end named Gaines (he does look fun to tackle though), and a receiving core of Mohammed, Stuckey, and Josh Cribbs.

Pretty soon we will see how good he is because he has four home games where it will be cold and windy…That arm will be tested.

Honestly though, why are people freaking out?? We played the Lions…… You SHOULD have a good game against Detroit of anybody. Let’s see what he does next week and the week after before we crown him king of Cleveland by permanently removing LeBron’s headband and giving it to Quinn.

PS – I asked Brady and he said he’s more of an Edward then a Jacob kind of guy which is totally great cuz so am I!!!! Yay Brady! Yay Edward!

    @crazycav

Does anyone have access to total snaps taken?

Just looking at the pass attempts on the season (yes, i know this is not total snaps taken, but it’s the only data I could find so far)

Quinn has 141 attempts (32.5 avg in his 4 full games) compared to Anderson’s 154 (27 average in 5 full games)

Assuming Quinn averages 32.5 attempts in the next 6 games (195), that would put him at a total of 336 attempts for 68.6% of the attempts (336/490)

Again, I know this is only pass attempts, and not total snaps, but 70% isn’t necessarily out of the question in my opinion.

  • 30. November 24, 2009

Give me Berry in round 1, give me a WR or RB in round two, a few free agent signings. Build around Quinn and put the ball in his hands. There is no way he’ll fail you.

    32. November 24, 2009

@2 I agree completely. The Browns need a right side of the line more than they need anything else. How is St. Clair still in the NFL honestly? A complete line will open up the running game, and give the QB more time in the pocket to make wise decisions. Now the WR may not catch the ball but a complete O-Line will do more for the offense than any other position.

Dear jk we aren’t freaking out cause he did it against the lions, what it shows is that with a game plan that’s not pop Warner and so time he is a legit qb. He trow the deep ball which I have heard he couldn’t, granted in a dome will need to see it outside in the wind. Let us not forget he hit Jennings in stride for 6 that was drooped. Two deep balls to moe mass that he did not come down with, a playmaker makes those catches. Horrible coaching by mangini calling a time out and lettingstaford get back in the game. Mangini has to go, get rid of Anderson he can’t co-exist with Quinn. Quinn gets a full year next year and hope we hit on our 11 draft picks.

@ Brady09.. Ok Mr. Quinn… Sorry I ever doubted you.

  • sandersonm
    38. November 24, 2009

The game against the lions was both good and bad. Bad because we suffered another loss and bad because now Quinn is looked at as a great quarterback with a lot of talent. Newsflash: Brady Quinn had the opportunity to make things happen for the Browns 3 years ago as a rookie, but he was never played. We all had false hope in a crappy quarterback named Anderson. Quinn has suffered so many defeats that his confidence is now shattered. He is done for. The browns have been searching for a reason to keep him. This close loss strengthens the hope that browns back office has. The close loss says; hey, this guy (Quinn) has some potential. Nothing could be farther from the truth. Quinn has been kicked around and now he is worthless. He pulled off 2 deep passes against a horrible defense. He looked sharp against a defense that couldn’t keep a high school team from scoring. Brady is done for. And now all of these idiots that run the browns think there is potential.

The good thing is that Mangini is now out. There is no way in the world he can be kept after this season is over. The loss was good because it put Mangini out of Cleveland. I hate to see the Browns lose. It kills me. But it kills me more to see a coach that has a bad attitude, a coach that blames everyone else and a coach that doesn’t inspire anyone. Mangini brought over the entire 2nd and 3rd team from the Jets. The Jets couldn’t make it with Farve. The Jets had a great offensive line. The Jets 2nd and 3rd team sucked. That’s why they couldn’t get a super bowl ring last year. There depth was awful. So Mangini decides to bring that shotty 2nd and 3rd team to Cleveland where there was little hope for a successful season in the firs place. He has made decisions that have put the Browns back 5-10 years. We have a bunch of mediocre players and a coach that takes no accountability for his actions.

Again, I love the Brownies. But I hate Mangini. I hate the 2nd and 3rd team Jets players that came to Cleveland. I hate the fact that Brady Quinn may be around next year.

Lerner; do us all a favor….Fire Mangini. Fire Brian Daboll. Keep Rob Ryan (he at least shows some damn enthusiasm)! Release Quinn, Release Anderson, Release Jamal Lewis. Quit being so pathetic and come out in front of the media and let us Browns fans know that you care about this franchise. Grow a pair and tell Cleveland that you’re going to spend the money to make this team a winner. Come out and tell Cleveland that you love the Browns. Nobody cares about your damn Euro-trash Soccer team. You’re in flippin Ohio. Ohio cares about 1 thing and 1 thing only; football. Show some emotion man.

Let’s start over. Let’s get the right GM and coach in the seat. Let’s get rid of the pathetic players that can’t perform. Lets rebuild (again) with players that can play. Go out and spend the money for these players. Get someone in control that can make the right draft choices. Lerner; come out and let Cleveland know that your the right owner for this franchise; or sell the team to someone else. The fans won’t let Cleveland move again. The team isn’t going anywhere, but maybe you should if you don’t make something happen.

    Go Browns.

Based on one game that was against Detroit and now we want to give Quinn a chance? BS!

Quinn is not the answer, will never be the answer!

We seen what Quinn is about agianst a real NFL team last Monday night. Don’t let the wool be pulled over your eyes, Quinn will not bring us any glory. Quinn is just another Couch. Let’s not waste our time with another imposter as a starting QB.

We should not draft a QB this year. We should use our draft picks to continue to build the team OL, DL, LB, and DB. We depth and starters to emerge from these draft picks. Next year will be a better QB crop to look at and draft from.

@33: I was kind of hoping for 0-16 in a masochistic way. But point taken.

  • 41. November 24, 2009

@Desert Wahoo: You totally missed the point of the article. Keeping Quinn for next year has nothing to do with the Lions game. It has to do with the fact that according to people who have actually researched this, you can’t give up on a QB after only one season. If he’s below replacement value after 2 seasons, then you can cut them lose. But as pointed out in that ESPN article that I quoted, Quinn’s stats (before the Lions game, even) were similar to Troy Aikman’s and Matt Hasselbeck’s through their first 7 career starts. Only a fool wouldn’t give Quinn the same amount of time to develop as those 2. Even if Quinn has been TERRIBLE against the Lions, he still should be allowed to be the starter next season.

  • sandersonm
    42. November 24, 2009

@RockKing: I could name off 50 plus quarterbacks that had the same start as Quinn, Aikman and Hasselbeck that are no longer in the league. Aikman and Hasselbeck are exceptions to the rule. 2 out of 50 plus quarterbacks made it. If you want the Browns to have another Dismall season, by all means lets start Quinn. Hell, lets give Anderson some more starts too. Anderson and Quinn are interchangibly pathetic. Oh…I know…lets pick up Jamarcus Russell…..lets give him a chance too. While we are at it, we should fire Mangini and pick up Dick Jauron. Hell, lets bring back Romeo Cromel and make him an offensive coordinator. They didnt have enough chances. We should give them another chance.

YOU…missed the point, just like every other wanger in Cleveland that thinks Brady Quinn is our Future. We do need a new offensive line, we also need a better Quarterback that can lead a team. We currently have neither.

  • 43. November 24, 2009

It’s hilarious that you mention Russell. I don’t know what to tell you other than to read the article I linked to. Russell was the focus of the piece, pointing out that now that Russell has been terrible for 2 years, it’s ok to give up on him. So how does your mentioning of Russell fit into this argument? Why would we want to give him another shot? He already failed the test. Same with Anderson.

So, yeah, I’m not sure how it is you think I missed the point of my own article that I wrote. But you just very clearly proved that you didn’t read either my article or the ESPN article. You just came into here to spew a bunch of nonsense. What does Dick Jauron or Romeo Crennel have to do with the research that Football Outsiders conducted that shows that you need to give a QB 2 years before you know for sure what he is.

Nobody here is saying Quinn is going to be good. All I said was that we should listen to the people who have actually done research on this matter. Plenty of QBs have started out like Quinn and turned things around. Even if there’s a 10% chance of happening the Browns may as well take that shot, because the odds of any other random QB they’re going to draft being better is about the same.

  • sandersonm
    44. November 24, 2009

Sensing sacrasm isn’t your thing RockKing. More times than not people are given a second chance when they should never recieve them. Cut your loses and move on, a second chance delays the inevitable. A player needs 2 years? Its time to remove the blinders. Are we both watching Brady Quinn play? Or are we talking about a different Brady Quinn? “Even if there’s a 10% chance of happening the Browns may as well take that shot, because the odds of any other random QB they’re going to draft being better is about the same.” – I would have to disagree. There is a 99% chance of drafting a better quarterback. Brady’s confidence is shot. He already has it in his own head that he is not going to be around. He expects to lose. Brady has talent otherwise he wouldnt be in the NFL… A fresh new quarterback will not have that expectation of losing. They will come out fired up. They will come out with an expectation to win. Brady has lost the ability to turn it around. He has admitted defeat, so has Man-gina. Your trying to say that he desevers another chance, i get it. I am stating that he is done for. Cut him. Start new and start from the top. The Browns need a new winning mentality to lead the team. A losing mentality will produce loss after loss.

  • Matt C
    45. November 24, 2009

The real question is, do the fans have a strong opinion about Brady one way or the other? THAT is what is going to make the difference.

Also, Rock King, you didn’t JUST see Brady be a non factor – he was 29 of 45 for 286 yards – in 2006. He was drafted in 2007, a full year later and ND was still within 7 points until about 6 minutes to go when Pittman had the long TD run on 3rd and 5.

Non of this is really relevant to your article, just wanted to clear up some inaccuracies and over-generalizations.

  • bobby
    46. November 24, 2009

Alright sandersonm, I am in no way a Quinn supporter, but when has he admitted defeat? When has Mangini admitted defeat? Past that, a 99% chance that you can find a better QB then Quinn? Theres how many QBs that come out each year in the draft? how many get drafted? How many become stars? I don’t think Quinn is going to become a superstar in this league, and I can’t speak for Rock, but I wouldnt expect he thinks Quinn is going to become a star. All he is talking about is that it takes 2 years to see what kind of path a young QB will take, according to the study. The difference with Aikmen and Hasselbeck, is they got better after 7 starts, where a lot of QBs dont ever take it to the next level. It takes time to see if a QB will. I thought DA had potential to go to the next level, and I was proven awfully wrong. Who do you think will come in and play better? Who would you draft if you’re in position to, and who would you try to bring in during FA?

  • 47. November 24, 2009

@Sandersonm: Again, read the article. There’s no statistical basis for saying a QB is done after one year. There just isn’t.

@Matt: You’re right about the “just” part, but you’re wrong about the non factor part. Quinn had no impact on that game whatsoever.

  • sandersonm
    51. November 24, 2009

Thank you for asking Bobby; Q: Who do you think will come in and play better? A: Tim Tebow (he shows heart, hardcore football pours from his blood. He plays in a tough division. Notre Dame is an overrated team, they always have been, Quinn has been overrated from day one. They need to draft Tebow and start him immediately.) Tim Tebow can bring that Drew Brees mentality to the game; motivation. Q: Who would you draft if you’re in position to (answered above), and who would you try to bring in during FA? A: Free agents: Jahri Evans, Saints – OL., Logan Mankins, New England – OL. Richard Marshall, Panthers – DB. Elvis Dumervil, Broncos – DL (expensive but a franchise player). All of these free agents are good. They are all young. They have a ton of potential to grow. The Browns have some injuries that have plagued them on the defensive side of the ball. If we can keep our defensive staff healthy we will not be last in the league again next year.

In regards to a coach: No good coach will come aboard now. They will wait until the season is over. I would pay out the money for a Shanahan or Holmgren, I would even go as far as saying Shottenheimer would be a good pick. Holmgren has already stated that he wants a challenge, a team to bring from nothing to something. We need a leader with that mentality. Spend the big bucks on a good coach/gm, it will trickle down success. We picked up Mangini as quickly as we could. Mangini has Belichick equity, thats why he was picked up so quickly and given a 2nd chance. But Mangini is nothing like Belichick.

Mangini has admitted defeat. He won’t say it, but it’s written all over his face. You can see it on the field and during press conferences. Defeat is written all over Quinn’s face as well, take a good look at the guy while he’s on the sidelines. He knows that Cleveland will not keep him around. The fans control this team and the fans can see the writing on the wall.

Talent can only take you so far in this game. Look at Ray Lewis (whose team is not doing so well this year but is a good example), look at Drew Bree’s; these players pump up a team. These players provoke an offense. They ignite a defense. They bring that extra spark thats needed to take talent to a whole new level. We need a player that will ignite this team. We need a coach that shows some emotion and ignites this team.

    Wow. Tim Tebow? Just…….wow.

    @51

I stopped reading at Tim Tebow. He’s going to get wrecked in the NFL.

  • 54. November 24, 2009

@ 51 – Holmgren has said he wants to be a team President or Parcells-type czar, not a coach. Marty said today he’s not looking to get into coaching again. The Bills are gonna go hard after Shanahan, so we’ll have to see there. So honestly I don’t think any of the guys you listed will be coaching the Cleveland Football Browns next year.

    And Tebow? False.

I have yet to see anybody magic marker the word ‘DEFEAT’ on anybody’s forehead so far.

I agree with the actual article written by Rock and the notion of two years. I was actually talking about this with my brother in law who is a Raiders fan for some reason and we were talking about how bad our QBs have been. I told him that at least Russell had a chance to be in there the whole time, take his lumps, and prove if he had anything. Obviously he didn’t.

The notion of taking Tebow I guess isn’t a horrible one, depending on which pick you are talking about. 4th round and he is sitting there? Sure, take a flyer. As long as we hit well on the ones before that. But if your idea was to be taking Tebow at any point before the 4th round, then no freaking way. Sorry, but his skill set doesn’t seem to fit the QB.

So I am all for just sitting and signing any and all OLs, DLs, LBs, WRs, and CBs and sitting one more year with Quinn. My only hesitation would be if we could sign Kolb. I don’t know yet what the Eagles will do with him, how expensive he would be, or if we would have to give up picks which I don’t want to do. But that looks like a guy who has had the time to sit and watch and learn, and when he got the chance in two games this year set a record for most yards in first two games. So I would be on board for signing Kolb if possible and getting rid of Brady. Otherwise, give Quinn a chance and build the rest of the team.

@35 – Were you misspelling all of those words on purpose?….I don’t get it.

Wow now that I’m caught up to the bottom of the comments..

sandersonm – What makes you think any of those free agents would WANT to come to Cleveland? Logan Mankins and Elvis Dumervile are great players. Not only will they get top money, but I’m sure that their successful teams are going to try to resign them. And jsut as another point, we aren’t going to get an O-linemen in free agency when we already have so much money tied up in out C/LG/LT. Look for a 2-3rd round pick to address the right side of the line.

And Tebow? That’s ignorant. You’re ignorant. (Said in a south park Micheal Jackson voice)

i only read posts 1-30, so maybe this has already been said, but that “study” is COMMON SENSE (no sarcasm). been saying it all season…

    Kyle,
I haven’t gotten deep into the numbers but I imagine if you count the snaps to Cribbs and the amount of running plays in each game that Quinn will have a hard time reaching those numbers. I would be willing to bet the people in the Browns front office have it figured out as way not to pay Quinn. How else can anyone explain Andersons preformance and that fact Magina left him in week after week. Andersons play reminded me of one of the all time worst QB’s ever and a player with similiar numbers Marc Wilson.

I cannot believe some of you that have commented that you recoginze that Quinn most likely will not be a superstar and that is ok for you.

    NO! NO! NO!

Quinn is not ever going to lead our team anywhere. He is just like Couch, and Anderson. Cannot compete with the elite of the NFL. I will concide that Quinn will get another shot at starter next year cause we will not have anything else, however at the 2011 draft the team should be drafting another QB by then.

And to add in on this one more time.. Since I do not believe Quinn will the QB of the future for our team and I also believe the Browns should not draft a qb in the 2010 draft. In my humble opinon I think they should be looking at the following players as well as others of course…

    Jake Locker – Washington
    Ryan Mallett – Arkansas
    Zac Robinson – Okla. St.

  • 66. November 24, 2009

@ 65 – Mallett could be Jamarcus 2.0, but he’s an absolute beast. It bottles my mind to think that Michigan had a QB of that size and that talented and let him go. I wouldn’t mind seeing him playing for the Browns, but I hope for all of our sake that we’re not drafting that high next year (though we likely will be).

You Quinn haters are so off. He is going to be an elite qb, if not in Cleveland then somewhere else. I’ll say it again with time(even with a lack of talent to help) he can make all the reads and throws! He has command of the huddle and can read defenses( da can’t ). If he would of suck against the lions you would say he sucks, but when he dies good you still say he sucks. I got news for you the lions have more playmakers then us. They may of went 0-16 last year, only because they didn’t play us. They were in games last year. Plain and simple we have no talent. I think he is going to get better every week and will get one more year with the new coaches/gm. The thing that sucks is it’s going to be his 3rd coach and like3 or 4 oc, I can’t remember. Da is a waste, can’t read a defense no accuracy, buy I’m suppose to be impressed cause he is tall with a good arm. J Russell can throw 60 yards from his knees, how is that working for him. If you can’t watch Quinn play and tell he is a quaterback you don’t know much,I’ve to Canada and watch hockey. The thing that I think would help him is taking off some muscle, he is to built. And whoever called me mr.Quinn my ne isbrady09 got my son who is6weeks old, and mo I didn’t name him after Quinn! We need someone who cam draft some weapons for Quinn and hopefully get Eric berry with our first round pick. I want Jon gruden!! I’m sick of everyone saying he signed a contract at espn, it’s called hedging your bet, he can get out of it to coach( remember bill parcels)!!! Go browns, we can’t lose forever!!??
