The rematch of a game that came down to the fourth quarter just a few days back- though now in South Beach, (in my “wife beat”…let me see your grill). LeBron James takes a Cavaliers team to Miami, on his birthday, in the midst of a 24-hour LBJTV run.
BDL has placed the Cavaliers at the #2 slot in the power rankings, ahead of everyone not named the Lakers. While I do have a bit of a bone to pick on their “Mike Bibby, Rajon Rondo or Jameer Nelson” for the last Eastern All-Star slot (Hello, Mo Williams?) it is great to finally see the boys be right in the mix with the rest of the elite.
While our home record is in tact, we need to take this one on the road. Hopefully, Zydrunas Ilgauskas’ ankle is better than it was a few days back. I fully expect another Dwyane Wade/LeBron James show, but exploiting Joel Anthony and Mario Chalmers will be key to this game.
I don’t have a lot of time, so you’ll just have to recall the starting lineups and respective stats from this past weekend.
Vegas line is Cavaliers (-5.5) with an over/under of 182.

I hope LBJ throws down on Wade. I hate Wade. I hate his fans. He is nowhere near LBJ. Wade had Shaq and they had a 10+ game losing streak last year. LBJ would never allow that – EVER. He could take me and the next three posters to this blog and he’d win a game. LBJ played with a team equally crappy as the 2007-08 Heat – in his rookie season – and they almost made the playoffs.
D-Wade, I’ve watched Lebron James: I know Lebron James; Lebron James is a friend of mine. D-Wade, you’re no Lebron James.

Well, the Cavs continue to play pretty lazily and poorly early on. It’ll be a real test to see if they can come back in the 2nd half being down by this much. They really need to snap out of this spell soon.
