Before You Comment
When WaitingForNextYear began, Scott, Rock and I agreed that we would maintain a ‘family friendly’ atmosphere. What that means exactly is that we would be careful with our language, and encourage our commenters to do the same. In addition WFNY doesn’t post pictures of half-naked women, nor link to articles or sites that feature them. Please note, any attempt to circumvent our language filters by “creatively” mis-spelling foul language will result in an automatic IP ban.
There are thousands of sports sites, including hundreds of Cleveland sites that don’t care about maintaining this type of environment. We feel there should be a place where all Cleveland fans should be able to read, and comment about their favorite teams without being subjected to foul language and pornography. If you feel that you are ‘missing out’ on something because of the family friendly nature of the site, I wish you nothing but the best. We feel that the fans that read and comment here are some of the most knowledgeable and articulate around the Cleveland sports scene. We appreciate the atmosphere that they have helped us create.
